The GPS mount indoors on time but with no instructions. I contacted Semsons. Their excuse was that Amazon will not allow them to include an Internet link to the manufacturer’s instructions. It seems never to have occurred to them to make a printout (one lousy page!) and pack it with the product! I told them that is idiotic and inexcusable. This is my first and last experience with Semsons.
This is a piece of junk,I have bought vent mounts before but this is a new low in quality.Excellent thing it was so low-cost as I threw it out!
I own this mount,plus the ones for the TomTom one X,and the Garmin Nuvi.These mounts are all fantastic products.I owned a different mount for the Nuvi and it was junk.It had some sort of spring loaded clips that were worthless.The GPS unit spent more time on the floor of the car than it did in a viewable position.The Arkons are the standard by which all others should be judged
I got one of these Air Vent Mounts for my Magellan Roadmate 1440 and it does just fine. I don’t know how it could work any better, we use it in our 02 Nissan Altima. Just take your time when putting it in OR taking it out of the vent and you’ll be fine. One way the clips are hard to open so look close and reckon about how they work before you install them and you’ll be fine. I would say buy it here on Amazon because I didn’t realize it is cheaper here than on ebay so I bought it from ebay………. It is a GOOD AIR VENT MOUNT folks…..
I bought this last winter and easily installed and used with magellan GPS. Looked-for to be mounted with care but, held in fantastic position and no suction cup ring on the windshield. As quickly as the warm weather came the clamps attaching to the vent stretched out and no longer held onto vent. Very disappointed. This was exactly what I hoped for in anticipation of the heat ruined it.
