I received Garmin adapter, but it was not finished in manufacturing. It does not have the adapter to my garmin. No QA/QC at all.

I had the Garmin for a long time and the car charger cord simply died and so I had to replace it and was glad I was able to get it cheaper here!

The speaker section of this item is fine. The slide-on electrical connector is poorly engineered. After a small time, the plastic “wings” on the connector bend slightly, making one of the contacts not mate properly. This electrical connector is far to complicated and delicate for anything but occosional use. Bring shame on, Garmin.

I had bought this chord in October and have used it about 6 times now. Am having tribulations with the chord in that I have to jiggle the chord for my unit to come on. Not exactly what I expect from the product after having paid this greatly.

The first cord on my Street Pilot 2640 started to give me tribulations after about 2 yrs. When I would go over a bump the Street Pilot would reset due to a break where the cord emotionally caught up to the connector at the back of the GPS receiver. The new cord may develop the same problem (it appears to be identical to the first except that it is a couple of feet longer) but it solves the problem for now.
