Sorry, I tried, and it was really excellent, involving two different installs. Then when i was trying to give you your damn link, I at sea the whole thing. Too tired to repeat it. Just a thought, why don’t you just include the damn link. Excellent grief, what a PIA!!!!!!

This item does not work very well. I have better reception when I use the internal antenna.

I did use my Garmin in Europe without antenna, The signal at sea once quick through mountains.., But with Garmin 25 MCX Antenna that problem vanished.

It really worth to buy for pouring on Alps.

For my Garmin Streetpilot 7200, which I could not or did not want to mount on the instrument panel of my vehicle, this antenna gave me a tremendous boost in life able to pick of the litter up plenty of satelites with fantastic might, without even putting the magnetic section outside my vehile. Just plugging it into the back of the gps unit was able to get me from “scanning for satelites” to “ready to navigate”. And the attaching wire it comes with is thin enough to fish around and squeeze into forceful places. I highly suggest trying this if you don’t have perfect reception beforehand.

I like my Garman, and by the Antenna alowes you to have the device off of the dash bord and still be connected. I bought 5 for my friends that have Garman GPS, and 2 out of 3 have loved them. one has not tried it yet, and one not impressed.
